Cookie Policy

Why there is no cookie banner here
Consent banners exist because most websites let other companies place trackers on them. We do not. There are no third-party cookies on adorely, no advertising pixels, no analytics SDK, and no social media trackers. Everything below is set by us, on our own domain, and used only to run the Service.
That is a design decision, not an oversight. It is also the reason you are reading a short page instead of clicking through a consent dialog.
What we set

We also use your browser's local storage for two things while you are signed out: which posts you have already seen, and anything you have started but not finished. Both stay on your device and are merged into your account if you sign up.
Sign-in with Apple or Google
If you choose to sign in that way, Apple or Google may set cookies on their own sign-in pages. That happens on their domains under their policies, not ours, and only if you choose it.
Turning them off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block ours, you will not be able to stay signed in, and features that need an account will not work. Browsing without an account will still work.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie, it will be listed here before it is set, and if it is ever a third-party one you will get a consent banner — because at that point we would owe you a choice.
