We do not sell anything
There is no cart on adorely, no checkout, and no "buy" button. When you want to find a piece, we send you to a search engine for the brand and product name. We do not take a cut of anything today.
We do not sell placement
No brand can pay to appear on adorely, to appear more often, to rank higher, to be shown next to a particular kind of outfit, or to keep a competitor out of a photograph. There is no advertising product and there is no sponsored content. If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, and anything paid for will be labelled where you see it, not only here.
Brands that claim their page can do exactly three things: upload better images and information about their own products, choose whether their products appear alongside a list of named competitors, and withdraw their products. None of those buys visibility.
What we may earn in the future
We may add affiliate links — links that pay us a small commission if you buy something after clicking. We have not added any yet. If and when we do:
- Every such link will be clearly marked where it appears, not only on this page.
- It will never change what we show you or the order we show it in. Which outfits appear is decided before anyone gets paid for anything.
- We will keep sending you to the brand, not to a marketplace that outbid it.
How we choose what to show
By what people respond to and by what we have in stock — meaning which real products we have data for. Not by who pays.
How we choose which brands to approach
By what we are missing. We keep a list of the kinds of clothing our outfits need and cannot find, and we contact brands that make those things. A well-known brand gets no advantage over a small one; a small one that fills a gap is more useful to us.
Not affiliated
Naming a brand or a product is how we tell you what a piece is. It is not an endorsement by them of us, or by us of them. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or authorized by any brand unless we say so on that brand's page.
